  5. nothing will improve unless we have quality people controlling our country....not people like zardari, gillani(dummy) etc etc.....there should be some check on who gets to control prestigious ministries...but here it gets assigned on the basis of who does the most TC of zardari...i feel sorry for our country....

    LONG LIVE PAKISTAN!!!

  6. Frankly speaking, measuring the progess rate varies from person to person. Moreover everyone has different standards of measuring it.
I believe that Pakistan is a developing country but it is facing all sorts of crises and pressures.
We living in Pakistan are still lacking the very basic necessities of life. This is poverty.
Coming back to the question, Zardari
is making things more worse in nutshell.
He has a major corruption hold. He has no agenda other than minting money. He is a thug.

We need a leader who is trust worthy, qualified, has the ability to look into matters and solve them with sincerity. Law and order being enforced. Our police is a sector where massive investment, training etc. can change the security issues alot.

  7. Electricity situation:

Few years back, the chines came in Pakistan, did there research, and were ready to invest in the thar coal mine. They also promised to
provide electricty for 20 years non- stop through out Pakistan at a economical charge.

Thanks to shaukat aziz who was more worried at the monopoly of WAPDA, he had disagreed with the charges and was ready to apply
    heavy taxation to this project.
The Chinese got disappointed and left Pakistan. The interior minister of Pakistan was also involved in this conspiracy and said "taxes will have to be levied at all costs."

If this was not the case, we would be having no loadshedding for 20 yrs. But it was not in the nature of Pakistan. While Thar coal mine is the 3rd or 2nd largest coal min in the world. It has gas reserves which are undiscovered yet fully.

The small power plants installed throughout Pakistan are inefficient and economies of scale are not being achieved.
